Luke 14:15
And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
I love how Jesus seemed to always inspire those who were around Him, He had the ability to open you up to see, feel and even taste eternity. He was so infectious: a few minutes with Him would cause you to long for the kingdom, He made it so real…
John 6:68
Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Mark 10: 35-37
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire. And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
It seemed as though His heart was always in eternity, even whilst he walked on the earth. Every story He shared gave His listeners a preview of God and His kingdom.
Mark 4:30
And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
How I long to be like my saviour.
Be Blessed
